Amiga is still my favourite micro-computer plateform. The “next gen” aka AGA machines, was not as technologicaly advanced as the OCS / ECS machines regarding its contemporary computers. Still, there is a lot of Amiga games dedicated to the AGA chipset (A1200 / A4000) that are worth playing.
This is my personal games selection of Amiga AGA games excluding CD 32 ones onyl if the CD32 version brings some additional content and/or feature. This page may be updated from time to time.
Meaning of the columns :
- Fast mem : tells whether the game makes use of “fast” memory, that is to say any installed memory expansion
- HDD Native: tells if the game is natively installable on hard drive (without WHDLoad)
- Faster CPU: tells whether the game makes use of more powerfull CPU than the stock 14 Mhz 68020 of the Amiga 1200
- 2 Butt: tells if the game makes use of a 2 buttons joypad
- CD32 Joypad: tells if the game makes use of more than 2 buttons using a CD32 game pad
