This is my personal games selection for MegaCD. This page may be updated from time to time.
I also share any eventual reason to get a specific version or to apply a patch (hack). I use only NTSC games to play in 60Hz (My MegaCD has a region free NTSC-U bios)

| Batman returns | Racing / Shoot'em up | Exclusive to the MegaCD. One of the few games that makes use of the hardware background scaler. |
| EathWorm Jim - special edition | Platformer | Best version of the game : CD musics, additional voices, new endings, a new level (Big Bruty) and password save. A PC version already exists with the same content in 256 colors, but it's not easy to run it correctly (Win95). |
| Pitfall : the Mayan adventure | Platformer | Best version of the game : CD musics, best framerate and better viewing area than SNES. You may prefer to play it on a real CRT with composite output as a some graphical effects seems to be clearly done for the composite blurry output |
| Chuck Rock | Platformer | Probably the best version of the game. Better colors, sound and music than the Amiga version (through, music themes are not the same). And also more pleasant to play than the Snes version because of the wider viewing area. |
| Chuck rock 2 : son of chuck | Platformer | The MegaCD version is the only one which proposes a "hard mode" with a new level design, but there are really hard. Also regarding the Amiga version, bonus stages allow to get 1 credit. In addition to better colors, this version has also some new graphical effects like zoom and rotations. |
